Please take my advice! Big Fool Emoji-03 (Creep Stare) [V2]

Receiving to much praise will get you no where in your art journey. I come from experience and it pretty much damaged me into believing I didn't need improvement with my drawing skills. I had teachers, students and strangers praising me 24/7 on how good or great I am at drawing, and no lie I thought I was the shit.

When I attended my first art class in college, I saw my disadvantages and advantages in drawing. I have trouble with human anatomy and much more. Sure I can put the blame of not having an influence of art classes, teachers etc in my childhood but it's not too late for me and I still seek to learn to improve, even here on deviantART! Panda Emoji-27 (Good night) [V2]

So take my warning, being praised feels really good but there is nothing wrong with receiving criticism. Especially constructive criticism. And YES people who cant draw can give you criticism as well! I've asked for criticism from people who cant even draw a stick figure that was helpful to my advantage.    Emoji26 Emoji02

I completely agree! When I used to produce music, I noticed everyone would give me great comments yet my music wasn't that good. So when I started asking for Constructive criticism, I took it in and it made me improve so much more than I had done previously ヽ(๏∀๏ )ノ
